Just spent 2 nights in a Double Room at the Anchorage, and it felt like a cozy home base! Perfect location close to the harbor and super clean rooms. The steep stairs were a bit tricky, but the charm of the place totally makes up for it!

Why it’s almost great (but not quite)
The house exudes character with its charming 17th-century design, and the fresh fruit and flapjacks are a delightful touch! !
Beware of steep stairs that can be a challenge with mobility issues, and the parking situation is nearly impossible.

Charming old house with a lot of character and modern conveniences with adequate comfort for a stay. The central location makes accessing local attractions a breeze, with steep climbs to the beach being a distant memory.
Parking is a significant drawback. options are limited and a trek away. The stairs inside are steep and narrow, requiring some ducking, which could pose challenges with mobility issues. No daily housekeeping unless requested in advance, making for a less tidy experience throughout your stay.
